Note that you cannot share a database between two versions of Outlook and BCM. Only one version of BCM can be installed at a time and users will need to uninstall the current version of BCM before installing the full BCM compatibility pack.Ī plus for users trialing Outlook 2013, Business Contact Manager for Outlook (BCM) supports using Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 in a side-by-side installation. Please note: you cannot use a shared database with Windows 8 if you use Microsoft account to log on. Users can download the full 32-bit BCM installation file from BCM for Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 (368 MB). Users can download the full 64-bit BCM installation file from BCM for Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 (368 MB). There does seem to be some ambiguity on Microsoft links about whether you need to have a prior version of this software, but I've never seen a clear "start from scratch with BCM for Outlook 2013" kind of link and the gist of what I've read suggests you can use the updating from prior BCM/Outlook links / files for this purpose.BCM is no longer available from download from Microsoft. If I try to open that same 32 bit file on my windows 8.1 laptop, same adaware problem. On a Windows 7 32 bit Outlook computer I have, the same link (?) seems to work. Then after uninstalling Adaware it gives me a prompt to install Adaware instead, but it never gets you to the Microsoft BCM software. The first time it gave me an option to modify or repair my Adaware (which I didnt even know I had). I download the file from microsoft, but after I agree to the terms and conditions it goes to an Adaware Alpha Ad Blocker screen. I have never had Business Contact Manager, but want to install it into Outlook in order to work more effectively with Mailchimp (there's a great sync tool that connects Outlook to Mailchimp but I need to have the BCM add on first). I have 2013 64 bit Outlook running on Windows 8.1.
